In the weeks leading up to the wedding day, make sure to touch base with your photographer about any must-have shots on your wish list. Here's a basic day-of list to get you started.
Getting Ready
- Bride getting hair and make-up done.
- Bridesmaids getting ready.
- Wedding dress displayed on hanger.
- Detail shots of bride's shoes and jewelry, as well as the something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
- Still shot of the bouquets.
- Bride's dress being zipped up.
- Mother helping the bride with one last detail.
- Father seeing bride in her dress.
- Bride with her wedding party.
- Bride with flower girl
- Groom and groomsmen getting dressed.
- Groom with best man.
- Groom with his wedding party.
- Groomsmen putting on boutonnieres or ties.
- Bride and groom first look, if meeting before the ceremony.
The Ceremony
- Exterior and interior shots of ceremony location.
- Grandparents' entrance.
- Groom walking his mother down the aisle.
- Close up of groom's first look as bride enters.
